Quick question: With Spaceship One being exported to the new location in Spaceport America, does that mean that Burt Rutan (and others) will no longer be testing at Mojave?
SS1 operations are planned at Spaceport America, because Mojave is primarily a flight test area. But WK2 will fly first here, the SS2 rocket engines will probably be tested here, the first carries, releases, and probably even the first flights to space will be here.
Small nit, SS1 is already hanging in the Smithsonian. SS2 on the other hand, will be flight tested here. Mojave is a great place for testing, and it may even end up seeing a lot of operations. We’ll see.

At 1:12, you can just barely see my head through the windshield of the tug.
